I do not recomend doing this unless you want to burn up your neon, I only run mine for about 1 min and them I power down. Never put the capacitors across the neon so I am told, I get fair results from this layout, everytime I try the normal tank circuit nothing happens. I am also told that I could get 4 foot long sparks from this coil if properly hooked up and "dialed in" right. Look this over and let me know what your findings are, I would like to also know if you have ever used this configuration before.
